Disagreement is welcome when it improves understanding. Harassment, unsupported claims, undisclosed AI-generated submissions, plagiarism and rights-infringing submissions are not.
Respect people
Do not submit harassment, discriminatory content, confidential personal data or unsafe accusations.
Disclose AI
Tell editors when AI meaningfully assisted a submission, especially where wording or analysis is generated.
Protect rights
Link or cite protected sources rather than pasting long extracts from standards, books, articles or databases.
Community and Profile Policy
Profiles must be accurate, respectful, lawful and professionally relevant. New profiles are checked by an editor and appear publicly only after the owner gives consent and the review is complete; publication is not identity or expertise verification. Only upload material you have the right to share. You retain ownership of your original material and grant Sustainability Language a limited licence to display it while it is public.
We may hide, restrict or remove material that breaches this policy, protects someone’s safety or privacy, or must be removed by law. We normally explain the action and offer a route to correct or appeal it; serious abuse may be removed immediately.
